A beautiful 1925 - 1930 pair of French art deco flush mounts by Hettier & Vincent in nickel plated solid brass or bronze and clear frosted molded-pressed glass. This model globe with a deco of flowers and butterflies is never signed. It was produced by Verreries des Hanots and used by many lighting companies to produce fixtures with. A larger and rare model bowl exists with the same butterfly decoration. The bowl is signed Hettier & Vincent cause Hanots produced it strictly for H&V. The butterfly globes were used by Hettier & Vincent for numerous models of lamps chandeliers and flush mounts. I show an old catalog with some H&V fixtures.
The balls have a diameter of about 18 cm (7 inches) and the total height of the ceiling fixtures is 30,5 cm (12"). They are in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mounts. And they are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
