The heavy-duty full-reed body remains tightly woven and completely intact; the distinct multi-colored geometric accent weaves retain their gorgeous original green tones. In keeping with its 100-year history, there are minor, very small split on a few of the reeds, which is completely stable and does not impact structural integrity. The solid wood bottom panel is rock-solid, showing expected light surface scuffs from sitting on cabin tables over the decades. The double-arch wrapped swing handle pivots smoothly at the side hinges. The top curve of the handle shows minor, superficial scuffs from past use, but the reed wrapping remains entirely tight. A premium, collector-quality survival. less
