The Cherry dress has wonderful history....The signature Cherry Dress was introduced in 1954 and is sold exclusively at the Women’s Exchange of St. Louis. The Women's Exchange is a historic nonprofit founded in 1883 to help women earn an income through handcrafted goods.
This iconic, handmade dress has charmed mothers for decades, ranging from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Gwenyth Paltrow, Jenna Bush ( her children seen in the Christmas card above), and other social media influencers. The Cherry Dress was trademarked in 2016 and has been featured in the New York Times Style section.
