Its base is composed of three hollow tubes of bright green acrylic glass, which emerge freely above the tabletop, giving it a silhouette that is both airy and assertive. The round, glossy black acrylic glass tabletop contrasts with the almost neon green of the cylinders, creating a striking graphic effect. The whole piece clearly evokes the postmodern aesthetic of the Postmodern movement, that wonderful period when design embraced color, gesture, and whimsy.
