​Executed in a rich turquoise/teal sgraffito ground with fine incised scrollwork, each jar is beautifully adorned with lotus floral scrolls, a traditional yellow ruyi-head collar around the shoulder, and a classic geometric border along the base.
​Four raised white circular medallions around the body feature stylized iron-red calligraphic Chinese characters spelling 萬壽無疆 (Wàn Shòu Wú Jiāng), an auspicious blessing for endless life and prosperity. The domed lids are crowned with the central character 壽 (Shou), symbolizing longevity.
​Stamped on the underside of each base is the overglaze red seal reading 中国制造 / MADE IN CHINA, dating this pair to the export production era of the 1950s–1960s.

Perfectly scaled at 4.5 inches tall, this lovely pair is ideal for mantle styling, bookshelf vignettes, or adding a pop of classic Chinoiserie color to any interior design scheme.
