This is a silver-plated server with a lid made in the US in the 1970s-80s. It is oval and can be used for any casserole or vegetable/side dish. The glass liner is 9” X 6” and about 1.25” high. The outer silver dish is about 11.5” X almost 9” and 3.25” high with cover.
It has obvious signs of wear, but appears to be one of the few silver-covered servers sold online that still has an intact – no chips or cracks - oven proof glass insert/liner. This means you can cook your dish in the over and then slip it into the server for a pretty table presentation. As the pictures show, the silver is highly reflective and will add a nice touch of bling to your setting.
Note: Pattern unknown. "338" printed on the label appears to be an internal company catalog number.

There are scratches, especially on the bottom. There are two major areas on the outer silver dish where the silver layer is missing. There is about a 1/8th-inch missing spot that can be seen on the upper right hand of the lid in image 1 and on the front left of the lid in image 6. There is about a 1/4th-inch spot on the bottom silver bowl lower left near outer rim in the first and last images. These same two spots show in other pictures as well. There are other small spots that can be seen also. less
