A striking round mid-century modern drum nightstand or side table in bookmatched olive burlwood veneer, Italian-made, attributed to William Switzer.
The cylindrical drum form features a pull-out slide tray just below the top surface, with a cupboard door below opening to a single storage compartment. Brass knob pulls throughout. Rich, high-contrast burl figuring with a warm patina; finish shows fine age-consistent craquelure typical of original vintage lacquer.
