Edmond Dannhauser
A nice French 1925 - 1935 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass holding a bowl in enameled glass signed Eddé. For the company of Edmond Dannhauser. A producer of modern lighting during the interbellum with its factory on 16 rue Pierre Levée in Paris. And shops in Luneville Paris and Brussels. Les Établissements Dannhauser designed and produced fixtures in plated bronze and wrought iron. It produced no shades. The bowl of this pendant light was produced for Eddé by the glass manufactory of Lo s Lucha.
The fixture has a total drop of 41 cm (16,14") and a diameter of 36,4 cm (14,33 inches). It is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mounting. And it comes newly wired. The pendant holds a US standard base socket.
