1920s Carved Walnut French Bergeres Armchairs Upholstered in Silk, a Pair
Offered for sale is a pair of French hand-carved Walnut Bergere club chairs that have been beautifully upholstered in blue silk with contrasting welting. These wonderful bergeres were acquired in the 1970s at an antique shop in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. They were recently reupholstered and updated by the previous owner.
