The center of the charger displays a classic sansui (mountain-and-water) scenic vista rendered in rich, layered cobalt blue tones, depicting pavilions nestled among towering peaks, bridges, and pine trees. The central medallion is framed by an asymmetrical border consisting of traditional Japanese geometric patterns, including Seigaiha (wave/scale design), Shippo (interlocking circles), and Sayagata (swastika fretwork). Finished with a delicate iron-oxide rim (fuchi-beni).
Unmarked on the clean white glaze underbody, this piece makes a striking statement displayed on a tabletop stand or mounted as wall art in modern, coastal, or traditional interiors.
