A finely crafted bachelor's chest by Kittinger, the storied Buffalo, NY maker whose furniture furnished the White House and other historic institutions. Solid mahogany case with a graceful bow-front silhouette, dovetailed drawer construction, original brass swan-neck pulls, and a shaped apron on bracket feet. Kittinger label present inside the top drawer, confirming authenticity and maker.
Minor age-appropriate wear consistent with honest vintage use: light surface scuffing on the rear panel (not visible in placement), a small veneer nick along the top edge, and softly patinated brass hardware. Structurally solid throughout, drawers operate smoothly.
