Rustic refinement in this rare hand-forged and hammered ashtray finished in silver-plate produced by Christofle. Between 1950 and 1992, the French luxury maker produced silver-plated pieces in Buenos Aires, Argentina, crafted under strict French Christofle quality standards. The aesthetics of the piece feel very similar to those produced by another luxury maker based in Buenos Aires, Plata Lappas.
This piece features a round shape with three concave cigarette rests spaced evenly around the rim. The slightly convex bottom panel features a delicately hammered texture. Marked "Christofle Industria Argentina" on the bottom.
