this mid-century modern Italian pottery vase was created in the 1960s by Fratelli Fanciullacci.
The vase showcases the signature blend of the factory's signature tactile, hand-crafted style.
Form: Elogated, teardrop shaped body that gently tappers upward. It has a slime and fluted neck and flares out slightly at the rim.
Aesthetic Stlye: Mid-section between Mid-century Modern and Brutalist.
Sgraffito is a technique where artisan carves away layers of outerglaze to reveal contrasting colors underneath.
Decorative Motifs: Central band featurs brown and pink pattern outlined by incised border.
