- The Apothecary Jars are in good condition for the age and use, both have wear to the gold mainly on … moreThe Apothecary Jars are in good condition for the age and use, both have wear to the gold mainly on the lids. One lid has a chip on the edge and there are some glaze pops on the base from when it was fired in a kiln. One jar has a very tight hairline on the top, it is approximately 1 1/4" long. These were obviously produced in a small factory because each lid only fits it's particular jar. less
