We are selling this very charming small Impressionist landscape painting. This painting is well painted with heavy impasto and simple brushwork to create a very traditional scene in lovely colors. The painting features a large tree with a path and some dappled shade, possibly a California scene. The painting is signed illegibly in the lower right, possibly H. Clairmont or something similar. Mid-century or earlier.
Condition: Good condition. Area of paint loss in one small area.
