Antique French painted Louis Philippe mirror, c.1850
An original painted Louis Philippe mirror in antique white/cream with a molded frame with beaded detailing to the inner edge. The paint shows areas of wear with red ground showing through in places. The delicate gold beaded trim serves as a nice transition between the painted frame and the mirror. The mirror plate is original and has areas if speckled foxing, which shows its age and ads to its charm. Original back boards have never been removed. Hanging wire on rear.
