It has three drawers with distinctive round carved teak handles — a bold and sculptural detail that makes this piece immediately recognisable and sets it apart from other Danish furniture of the era.
The piece is made from teak veneer, showing a warm, golden-brown grain on the drawer fronts and a richer, more figured grain on the sides. The solid teak frame forms a sleek sled-style base that gives the chest a very clean, architectural look — quite different from the typical tapered leg design of the period.
The drawers are built with fine dovetail joints and have light-coloured solid wood interiors, showing excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. They run smoothly and are in very good condition inside.
The piece is in overall good vintage condition with natural signs of age that add to its authentic character. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
