Lorenzo Carmellini & Enrico Tronconi for Tronconi, 'I Personaggi' floor lamp, acrylic, chrome, Italy, 1972
This Post Modern floor lamp was designed by Italian design duo Lorenzo Carmellini & Enrico Tronconi in 1972. It captures attention with its large size and its reflection of a contemporary skyscraper. The construction consists of a white acrylic sheet that is folded to create an architectural volume. The acrylic structure with striped cutouts creates an interesting play of light and shadow. The white color makes this piece even more monumental. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution,
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
