Good antique condition, consistent with age and use.
The mahogany frames show visible surface scratches, small abrasions, minor marks and localized wear to the finish. These signs have been intentionally preserved as part of the chairs’ original patina and historic character.
The cane seats have been professionally renewed and are in very good condition. The cane panels on the backrests are also well preserved.
No major losses or structural damage are visible. Minor differences between the two chairs are consistent with their handmade and antique nature.
