Each lamp features an urn-shaped central fuel reservoir topped with a tiered, finial-capped lid, which sits upon a decorative pedestal base adorned with molded acanthus leaves and supported by a square plinth. Extending outward from each central urn is a single, sweeping, S-scroll support arm detailed with foliate relief carvings that carries fuel to the burner assembly. Each burner is fitted with a vintage, wide-rimmed glass shade featuring a frosted finish and an intricately etched floral pattern of leaves and berries. While originally engineered to burn whale or colza oil, these lamps have been subtly electrified for modern use, with electrical wiring carefully integrated into the burner housings.
