Vintage English Wedgewood Queens Ware "Chinese" Platter
Queensware has been at the heart of English ceramic tradition since Josiah Wedgwood first developed it in the 1760s, and this mid-century platter in the "Chinese" pattern shows exactly why it has lasted. The hand-painted detailing sits beautifully against the creamy body, bringing a quiet, considered elegance that feels genuinely crafted rather than produced. Made around 1960, it comes from a period when postwar English potteries were still operating with real skill and care.
