The bracelet highlights repeating links depicting the Portuguese caravel, the type of sailing ship that carried the Portuguese explorers around Africa, India, Brazil and beyond during the 15th and 16th centuries. The prominent sails are in full flight with an openwork border design. A great bracelet highlighting exploration, discovery, and maritime history - worn alone as a statement piece or part of a bracelet stack.

The bracelet is in good condition with patina evident. We have not cleaned the bracelet in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
The piece was acquired on a recent trip to Portugal, one of Europe's most exciting destinations for discovering exceptional antique and vintage jewelry.
