Vintage English Garden Trug
A well-loved English garden trug with a genuinely sweet history, this one spent its working life gathering wildflowers, and that story is written right into it. Garden trugs like this were a staple of the British countryside, practical tools shaped by generations of growers who valued function as much as form. This example features collapsible handles that fold neatly into the basket, a thoughtful detail that makes it far more versatile than it first appears.
Dimensions: W 21" D 7" H 5"
Origin: England
Circa Date: 1990
Condition: One handle shows some age-related wear, honest evidence of a life well used. It sits beautifully in a garden room or kitchen, and works just as well filled with produce, herbs, or fresh-cut stems as it ever did with wildflowers.
