Its wide, hand-hammered sterling silver band has a lovely darkened patina and makes a beautiful complement to the high karat glow of the 24k gold in the ring face. At the ring’s center is an oblong form with a classical-inspired image of a warrior holding a spear, standing in profile. The central oval is overlaid with a layer of 24k gold that has a matte finish and pretty luster. A row of three dots flanks each side of the ring; in the center dot of each row, a tiny bezel set diamond adds a pop of sparkle. Circa the 1990’s.

The ring contains two natural diamonds that measure 1.15 mm each. The ring is marked with “.007 carats” as its TCW. It is overlaid in 24k gold that is 30 microns thick, giving the gold enough depth that it will not wear off with use. The ring is marked as containing 0.16 grams of 24K gold.

The oval face of the ring measures 7/8”x 7/16”. The band has a width of 5/16”. The ring weighs 11.15 grams. The ring is marked as 24k gold and with a maker’s mark. The band acid tests as sterling silver.
