Originally created in the 18th century for the French card game "bouillotte," these lamps became popular desk or buffet lighting in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This lovely lamp has two candle style lights with faux candle sleeves, beaded brass trim, and a deep dark green oval metal shade with gilt line detailing.
The lamp measures 24 inches tall. The base is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The shade is 12 inches wide.
