Produced in Canada during the height of the company's influential design program, the STAR69 exemplifies the late postmodern movement through its sculptural form, minimalist geometry, and innovative use of bent steel. Pure Design collaborated with internationally recognized designers including Karim Rashid, Richard Hutten, Stephen Burks, and Niels Bendtsen, helping establish the company as one of North America's leading voices in contemporary furniture design.

Each table is formed from a single folded sheet of powder-coated steel, creating a seamless architectural silhouette that appears to float above its chrome wire base. The integrated open compartment provides practical storage for books or magazines while reinforcing the clean, sculptural profile. Bold in color yet restrained in form, the design feels equally at home in postmodern, contemporary, industrial, and minimalist interiors.

Both tables retain their original Pure Design labels and are offered as a matching pair.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light cosmetic wear consistent with age. The powder-coated finish presents well overall with minor edge wear. The chrome wire bases exhibit light surface oxidation in a few areas, which could be further improved with a gentle polish using fine steel wool if desired. Structurally sound and ready for use.
