Late 19th century "Cupid" pattern sterling silver serving spoon, American. 1878 patent design of Morgan Morgans, Jr., and most likely made by Albert Coles, NYC. The winged putto, framed by a pointed architectural arch, plays 2 trumpets. A true classic of the Aesthetic Movement. Never engraved. Light scratching in the bowl. 1.80 troy oz.
