This 14k gold chain features 129 black diamonds of two sizes—there a 117 tiny round beads, and twelve larger, square beads. The twelve square diamonds are spaced throughout the necklace to create a station chain and give rhythm to the piece. Both the hand-wiring of the chain, which consists of tiny pieces of wire individually looped through each bead, and the hand-faceting of each diamond, are what makes this chain so labor intensive. The end result is a sparkling black diamond chain with shimmery bits of facets catching the light between delicate wirework.

The necklace contains approximately eight carats of natural black diamonds. There are twelve hand-faceted cube-shaped French cut black diamonds that measure 2.65mm each, and 117 hand-faceted round diamonds that measure approximately 2.1 x 1.6 mm each.

The chain has a nice, long length of 26”, making it great for layering in a necklace stack as a pop of texture and sparkle. The piece weighs 3.45 grams. It has a lobster clasp and is marked as 14k gold. See less
