Handcrafted in 1998 by the artisan duo Dan & Joi LaChaussee, this rare, early-period sculpture is an exceptional example of American studio art glass.The bowl features a captivating, dynamic whirlpool design of soft violet-purple ribbons seamlessly woven with frosty white spirals. The fluid form culminates in a dramatic, undulating ruffled rim punctuated by a striking, vibrant teal green glass border.Resting securely atop its traditional carved dark wood display pedestal stand (included), this commanding piece brings unmatched scale and artistic presence to a grand dining table, entry console, or mantlepiece.Signature & Authenticity:The underside features an expertly polished pontil scar and is clearly hand-engraved with the authentic studio signature: "LaChaussee 1998".
