Revered as one of the Church's great preachers and defenders of the Catholic faith, Saint Dominic dedicated his life to teaching the Gospel, combating heresy through truth and charity, and fostering a deep devotion to prayer. He is also closely associated with the spread of the Rosary, a devotion later embraced and promoted throughout the Dominican Order. His image has remained a beloved subject of Christian art for centuries, symbolizing wisdom, purity, and faithful preaching.
