This fine china porcelain piece features the elegant "The Sedan" pattern, characterized by a delicate cream-toned rim adorned with hand-painted multi-color floral garlands and swags in pink, blue, and yellow. The bowl and lid feature ornate dual handles and a central lid finial heavily accented with bright gold trim gilding.
The underside bears the historical green "M-in-wreath" backstamp and red "Hand Painted
NIPPON" lettering, representing the Morimura Brothers era of craftsmanship before 1921 import laws changed Japanese porcelain markings. A rare, complete serving piece with its original lid intact, perfect for collectors of vintage Noritake or early 20th-century fine dinnerware.
