Impressive vase made of green cased glass with an internal white opaline glass, entirely molded and crafted by hand, dating back to the 1980s. The vase represents a splendid example of Central European postmodern glassmaking, faithfully attributed to the design of the renowned Polish master Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz for the Huta Szkła Tarnowiec factory. The vase stands out for its extraordinary formal display, characterized by a sculptural mushroom-like silhouette enhanced by the complex two-tone cased glass technique. This specific craftsmanship, entirely mouth-blown and freehand-molded, masterfully combines an internal layer of pure, opaque milky white glass with an external covering of meadow green crystal, creating an effect of profound volumetric luminosity. Embellishing the central body are two distinctive decorative handles, hot-applied in clear crystal and crafted with a dynamic curled motif, an iconic element and true trademark of the designer's style. Standing a remarkable 30 centimeters tall, with a diameter of 15 centimeters and a solid weight of 1.137 kilograms, the object features no engraved signature on the base, a technical feature that confirms its complete authenticity. The glassworks of the time marketed their products exclusively with factory-issued paper labels, which often peeled off and were lost over the years, as likely happened with our vase. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
