Teak frame with six drawers and carved solid wood handles, with square oak legs. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
Scandinavian tall teak chest of drawers dating back to the 1960s, featuring a composition of six vertical drawers. The carved handles in darker solid wood are one of the distinctive elements of the piece and interact with the continuous surface of the fronts, enhancing the natural grain pattern. The frame rests on square legs that visually lighten the overall appearance, following a design language widely used in Nordic production of the period. A representative example of postwar Scandinavian design culture, oriented towards quality construction, functionality, and attention to materials.
