This green glass demijohn/wine carboy in a gray plastic basket was manufactured in Italy in the 1960s and imported to Germany by ARAUNER (Kitzingen).
These carboys were primarily used for storage in wineries and pharmacies.
The spherical shape with a short, narrow neck optimizes the capacity per unit of weight.
The carboy holds 15 liters.
Today, these carboys make wonderful decorative pieces for the home and garden.
Excellent vintage condition.
