Constructed from solid elm, the table features a long flat surface framed by raised ends, a classic detail found on Chinese altar and offering tables. Carved scrolling spandrels soften the strong linear form, while the openwork panels along the sides display intricate traditional motifs. The dark, time-worn finish and naturally aged surface give the piece exceptional depth and character developed over more than 250 years.

At 107.1 inches wide, this unusually large antique makes a striking focal point in a grand entryway, dining room, living room, gallery, hotel, or commercial interior. It can be used as an altar table, extra-long console table, display table, or dramatic architectural statement piece.
