Antique English Oak Bedside Pot Cupboard
Before a bathroom existed in every home, this little cupboard had a job to do. Built around 1910, it's a classic Edwardian pot cupboard, designed to discreetly house a chamber pot in the bedroom back when indoor plumbing was still a luxury. That quiet practicality is part of what makes it so appealing today.
Solid and well-constructed, it carries the understated confidence that Edwardian craftsmen brought to even the most utilitarian pieces. The oak has mellowed into a warm, honeyed tone over more than a century of life.
