The "Tavitar" Common Teal, designed by Oiva Toikka for Nuutajarvi/Iittala in 1973, is a highly sought-after piece. Handcrafted in Finland, this piece features the characteristic striped body and contrasting head color that define the Tavitar series. I believe it is the female, due to its luster. Signature and sticker on the bottom. Remember, handcrafted items have small variations and/or imperfections. I have taken a couple of pictures of the head, because it may look like there are scratches or chips but there are not any. It is the coloration of the glass. It's a beautiful piece. See less
