An exquisite and luminous French Art Deco art glass vase by the celebrated master glassmaker Charles Schneider. Crafted in France during the 1920s, this piece is a sublime example of Schneider's verre marmoréen (mottled glass) technique, which involves rolling the hot glass gather in colored glass powders to create a rich, stone-like texture and depth.
The vase features a beautifully balanced, bulbous spherical body with a gently flared rim. The color palette is soft, elegant, and highly transitional, showcasing swirling, cloud-like inclusions of pale yellow, cream, and frosted white. When illuminated, the glass diffuses light with a warm, ethereal glow, highlighting the organic, almost planetary pattern of the glass.
