A stunning and highly collectible French Art Deco cameo glass vase by Le Verre Français, the prestigious art glass line created by master glassmaker Charles Schneider. Dating back to the 1920s, this elegant pedestal vase features the sought-after "Dalias" (Dahlias) pattern, showcasing the impeccable craftsmanship and bold aesthetic that define the Art Deco era.
The piece is crafted using a sophisticated multi-layered cased glass technique. It features a beautifully mottled, textured ground in vibrant shades of pink and rose—characteristic of Schneider’s mastery of powdered glass inclusions ("verre marmoréen"). Overlaying this luminous background is a deeply acid-etched cameo floral design in a rich, dark amethyst/plum tone, sweeping gracefully toward the dark, applied circular pedestal foot.Origin: France, Art Deco Period (Circa 1920s).
