Mid century Marbro Lamp Company chinoiserie double pull chain / two light table lamp crafted from a Chinese Famille Rose porcelain baluster vase featuring an elegant Peacock courtship scene with detailed rockwork, and blossoming pink peonies. The collar and neck feature traditional black calligraphic fret patterns and geometric borders.
The Marbro Lamp Company was an upscale mid-century lighting manufacturer based in Los Angeles. They were famous for sourcing high-quality imported ceramics—particularly Japanese Satsuma and Chinese porcelain—and converting them into premium Hollywood Regency and Chinoiserie statement lamps.
