This vintage set of eight A. Fritz + Co. folding chairs seamlessly blends practical, space-saving utility with a glamorous Mid-Century Hollywood Regency aesthetic. Unfolded, each chair reveals a beautifully proportioned, lightweight tubular steel frame finished in a striking matte gold lacquer, featuring an X-frame leg structure reinforced by an elegant, curved double-crossbar accent at the back. The wide, serpentine-arched backrest and the matching contoured square seat are thickly padded and upholstered in a luxurious emerald green velvet, offering an elegant textural contrast to the metallic framing. Finished with protective clear plastic glides on the feet to safeguard floors, this rare, large set of eight chairs combines upscale vintage sophistication with functional versatility, making them ideal for formal entertaining or high-end occasional guest seating.
