A beautiful antique Provençal oak vitrine from France, circa 1800, featuring a bleached, whitewashed finish that gives the piece an airy, relaxed elegance. The stepped, dentil-molded cornice sits above two arched, multi-paned glass doors, flanked by narrower glazed side panels for a sense of depth and dimension. Delicate hand-carved floral and foliate motifs adorn the top corners, echoed in the carved paneled base below. The vitrine stands on gently scrolled cabriole-style feet with a shaped apron, adding graceful movement to the silhouette.
