Sophisticated casual lifestyle. The buffet has three drawers and three shelved cabinets topped by a detachable wood and scrolled metal open shelf hutch. The shelves are grooved to support and display china. Finish: taupe paint heavily distressed to allow the cherry and pinewood undertones shine through. Construction: Hardwood solids with cherry and pine veneers. Stable panel construction. Durable. History: The China buffet with hutch was purchased new as part of the Hooker Furniture Wakefield collection dining set for my then French country house in 2012. My employment demanded a great deal of relocation and the set was never a good fit thereafter. It was professionally stored for the majority of its life. I held onto it thinking I would one day resurrect it, but that day never came as I am now retiring to a contemporary house. The item deserves a good home. See less
