Dating to approximately 1910–1925, the desk reflects the timeless proportions and quality craftsmanship of the Colonial Revival period.

The warm original finish has developed an attractive patina through decades of use, giving the piece authentic character that cannot be replicated. A full-width dovetailed drawer provides practical storage, while the lower shelf offers additional display or organizational space. The desk is currently fitted with charming ceramic drawer pulls, which are later replacements for the original hardware.
