A large silverplate fish serving fork by Christofle, France, bearing the maker's oval "CC" mark (Charles Christofle, balance and rosette) set within a square box.
No Alfénide base-metal stamp is present, consistent with Christofle's earlier silver-plated brass cutlery production. This places the piece among Christofle's early cutlery output, not long after the firm pioneered silver-plated flatware in 1844. Elongated pointed terminal with a fanned shell motif and beaded rope-edge detailing along the handle.
