The sculpture is a symbol of the bighorn mountain sheep that symbolizes strength endurance and protection. They are also seen as sacred providers and guardian spirits due to their ability to thrive in harsh, mountain environments. They are also noted for their resilience and agility: because they climb steep cliffs with ease, they represent the ability to overcome hard challenges in life. This material used for these wall sculptures is a mixture of plaster and cement. These were gifted to me by a member of the Hopi tribe with the understanding that it could be passed on in the future.
