Italian modern wall lamp Noce by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, 1970s
Wall and table lamp model Noce, with a dome-shaped ribbed opaline glass shade that diffuses light softly and evenly, and a shaped light blue lacquered aluminium base with fluid, enveloping lines. The contrast between the satin-finished diffuser and the vibrant base gives the design a strong sculptural character and a distinctive aesthetic. Its compact form allows it to be used both as a table lamp and as a wall-mounted fixture, making it a versatile piece for residential and professional interiors.
This applique represents one of the most original interpretations of Italian design of the period, where functionality and formal research merge into an object of iconic identity.
Produced by Flos and designed by Achille Castiglioni, 1970s. Logo present underneath the base.
Good condition, with light signs of age and use. It shows minor scratches and small signs of use consistent with the object’s age.
