This BR 02 daybed was designed by Martin Visser in the late 1950s for ’t Spectrum.
By pulling the seat forward, the sofa transitions into a single daybed. This example is a production from the late 1980ties. It includes the loose armrest block (model BA 02).
The frame is made of matt chrome-plated metal.
The daybed has been reupholstered in Camira's sustainable Main Line Flax fabric.
The frame and the conversion mechanism are in proper working order. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
