The upper section features an asymmetrical metal framework in a warm antiqued brass-bronze finish, fitted with dark brown ash wood shelves in a variety of sizes and heights. The open composition provides multiple display areas for books, artwork, sculpture, and decorative objects.

The substantial lower chest is constructed with individually hand-laid solid wood slats that create a richly textured, dimensional surface. Fluid undulations within the slatted fronts serve as integrated handles for three pull-out drawers, offering generous concealed storage while maintaining the clean sculptural design.

The upper shelving unit is designed as a separate section that rests on the lower chest and lifts off completely for easier transport. It is not permanently fastened to the base. Wall anchoring is recommended, particularly in homes with children or where climbing or tipping could be a concern.

Excellent overall condition with minimal signs of handling. The wood surfaces and antiqued metal frame present beautifully, and all three drawers operate properly. No significant visible damage or structural issues observed.

The upper shelving unit is intentionally constructed as a separate removable section that rests on the lower chest and is not permanently bolted to the base. This is part of the original design and allows the piece to be separated for easier transport. Wall anchoring is recommended for added stability, especially in homes with children.
