Charles Schneider
A wonderful pair of French art deco wall sconces made around 1930. The solid brass mounts hold beautiful shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass made by Charles Schneider. The shades are signed Schneider France 406. This nice and searched after model is known under the name of "corniche aux libellules" (slip shade the Dragonflies).
The sconces are 34,5 cm high (13,58") 15,2 cm (5,98") wide and 16 cm (6,3") deep. They are in very good condition. The mounts were plated with a thin layer of nickel in a nice satin finish. The fixtures are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
